Our booking fees are to compensate for the time required to customize travel services.

Q: How do Travel Agents get paid?

A: Travel agents get paid a commission from whichever travel supplier you ultimately book with. Commission payments range anywhere from 5-15 percent of the base trip cost. Anything extra is not compensated. So, while it makes sense to book families that are going to an all-inclusive or cruise for no additional charges, that narrative quickly changes when a lot of specialization is required.

Q: Who do I contact if I have an emergency during travel?

A: If you experience an emergency during travel, there may be several people to contact! If you purchased travel insurance, you would want to contact them immediately. Also, travel suppliers have emergency lines to call while traveling. The number to contact will be different per supplier. If you need any assistance in finding the emergency number for your supplier, please let me know. And last but not least, contact your Travel Agent! If you have an emergency while traveling, please contact your TA! They can assist with securing emergency travel arrangements and other things that may arise (identification documents if you allowed access).

Q: Can I just cash app, or zelle you the money for my trip?

A: Actually, no you can’t. We do not take any ownership of our clients’ money. When we accept money, it is loaded directly into the supplier’s database. Also, if you are ever due a refund from a supplier for whatever reason, we want the money to go directly back to you!

Q: What will happen if I initiate a chargeback?

A: If you initiate a chargeback for a trip  have planned, we will work with your bank to make sure the travel claim is indeed paid. We understand that sometimes things happen and we want a faster answer, but a chargeback is not the way to go. If a client initiates a chargeback, the travel supplier will assign it as debt to the agency. And the agency will not be able to book with that supplier until the debt is cleared/paid. To prevent that, we require our clients to sign a waiver that you won’t initiate a chargeback, or you will be responsible for all resulting monies owed, including fees, fines, court costs and otherwise.

Q: Will you send me travel documents?

A: We will send you travel documents ONLY if you request them! Once we complete your booking, everything will be instantly emailed to you via the travel supplier you are using. Though it is nice to have printed documents, most travel transactions will be redeemed electronically via email. However, if you request, we will absolutely delighted to send you your travel documents via the US Mail system. Simply make the request!!! Otherwise, we will assume you are comfortable traveling paperless.

Q: If I am cruising, don’t I need to print luggage tags?

A: Yes! Please go to the port with your luggage tags as it will make your arrival to the cruise port a smooth experience.

After you have completed check in with your travel supplier, you will be able to print your luggage tags.

We will be happy to print and mail your cruise documents and luggage tags if you let us know at least 3 weeks before your travel date.

Even if you miss the three week deadline, we will make every effort to get your travel documents to you before you leave. If by chance,  you don’t receive the documents via mail before your departure date, we will assist you in getting the necessary documents from the travel supplier upon arrival.
